Gilda Benjamin

Gilda Benjamin White, holds a Bachelor Degree in Legal Studies and a minor in English from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, United States. She is employed with a midtown law firm, Harris Law, as a Paralegal and Office Manager for over 23 years. She was previously employed as a college library assistant.

Born in Dominica on March 24, 1973. She later immigrated to the United States, making it her permanent home. She is married with a daughter (18yrs) and a stepson (U.S Army) and two beautiful grandchildren.

She has been a Volunteer Leader with the Bronx, New York Boys’ Scout chapter and the New Rochelle Girls’ Scout Chapter for many years. The experience has afforded her the opportunity to mentor and guide young people, allowing her to accomplish one of her life passion.

Gilda is an active Board Member of “We Run Mt Vernon”, in Westchester County, New York. Participating in weekly walks in the local community and trails throughout the County. The Community group seeks to promote a healthier way of life by encouraging both children and adults to make activity a part of their everyday lives.
