Ellingworth Peter John

I obtained my primary school Education at the Roseau Mixed Infant School, Roseau Girls School and the Roseau Boys School, then went on to the Dominica Grammar School thus gaining a High School Diploma in 1984.

I gained employment in 1984 with the Waterfront & Allied Workers Union on the Woodbridge Bay Port as a Tallyclerk under the Dominica Stevedores Ltd. In 2001, the Dominica Air & Sea Ports Authority formerly the Dominica Port Authority dissolved and took over the services of the Dominica Stevedores Ltd.

I have served on the WAWU Executive from 1995 – 1997 as Assistant Secretary Treasurer. Served as Vice Chairman on the Port Branch Executive. Represented the Union at several Seminars and workshops Locally, Regionally and Internationally.
